There will be 16 regional supporters who will accompany members of the Colombian Football National Team to the 243 schools that will participate this year in the PISA test. Their intervention will be a fundamental piece to motivate and empower educational spaces.

During the event, the Minister of Education, Yaneth Giha Tovar, said:  “A child moves forward when all his or her capabilities are addressed in a comprehensive manner. If Colombia wants to continue advancing, it has to keep betting on quality; and a way of realizing how we are doing is through tests like PISA.

The Minister stressed that this work is done in collaboration with CSF, Claro Colombia, the Organization of Ibero-American States for Education, Science and Culture (OEI), the Colombian Institute for the Evaluation of Education (ICFES) and the Computers for Education Program.

Additionally, Minister Giha Tovar highlighted the importance that all the schools and students of the country have access and free of charge to PruébaT platform, which will allow them to become familiar with the digital environment of tests such as PISA.

With tools such as PruébaT, Carlos Slim Foundation contributes to strengthen the skills and knowledge of Latin American children and youth, providing quality content at no cost.
