PruebaT in Biomuseo, Panama
On February 4th 2018, the platform PruebaT (test yourself) will be presented for the second time at the Biomuseo in Panama, which will open its doors free of charge to all its visitors. During the day known as ‘Biodomingo’ (Biosunday), the National Center PISA Panama and the Ministry of Education will be in charge of showing the benefits of this digital tool to teachers, students and parents.
PruebaT is an online platform, free of charge, created by Carlos Slim Foundation, which objective is to strengthen the indispensable knowledge and skills to learn throughout life. This tool contains games, courses and notes on topics related to various areas of knowledge such as: mathematics, science, reading comprehension, logic, technology, educational innovation, among others. To enjoy these contents you only need to register on pruebat.org.
In addition to presenting the benefits of this platform to promote learning, the National Center PISA Panama will show visitors the games section, where students will be able to familiarize with the type of questions that are applied in standardized assessments such as the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) Test, which is about to be applied.
PISA evaluates the educational systems of various countries in the world, based on the measurement of skills and knowledge of 15-year-old students who are about to complete compulsory education. This evaluation developed by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) is applied every three years and includes questions and simulators that test the capabilities of young people in: mathematics, science and reading comprehension.
With educational tools of quality and free of charge, such as PruebaT , Carlos Slim Foundation promotes the development of the skills and knowledge of Spanish-speaking children and young people.
