In the\nframework of the Digital Health Forum Mexico 2019 Transforming\nHealthcare<\/strong>, Dr. Roberto Tapia-Conyer, CEO of the Carlos Slim Foundation\nSlim<\/strong>, explained that Digital Health<\/strong> is the new global paradigm\nfor the design and implementation of innovative solutions that catalyze the\nefficiency and quality of the health system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During his\nconference, \u201cDigital health in the transformation of the health system in Mexico:\nMIDO\u2013CASALUD a success story<\/strong>\u201d, he explained how, using the tools and\nplatforms offered by Digital Health, the most vulnerable population sectors can\nbe benefitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An example\nof this is the MIDO<\/strong>\u2013CASALUD<\/strong> integral model, which, using a\nrobust digital platform, allows personalized care to be provided through\nintelligent systems so as to improve joint responsibility between health\nworkers, patients and their families regarding healthcare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou have\nto talk about the six \u201cPs\u201d, which are the driving force behind the new health\nparadigm that benefits people:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Proactive \u2013 deliberate people\n search<\/li>
  2. Preventive \u2013 timely detection<\/li>
  3. Predictive \u2013 anticipation of\n the outcome<\/li>
  4. Personalized \u2013 precise and\n individualized intervention<\/li>
  5. Participative \u2013 empowering of\n the individual<\/li>
  6. Permanent \u2013 ongoing care.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    For this\nreason, the role of digital tools in the empowering of people has to be\nacknowledged\u201d, Dr. Roberto Tapia-Conyer said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Digital\nHealth is the new global paradigm for the provision of effective, fair, and\nhigh quality healthcare services, with great humanism, which can connect people\nand their families with the health centers and their communities, and with\ntransparent performance measurement system with accountability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Finally, Dr.\nHector Gallardo Rincon<\/strong>, operating solutions director of the Carlos\nSlim Foundation<\/strong>, will appear today on the panel: Personalized tests for\nMellitus Diabetes<\/strong>, giving the conference: Personalized Coverage in Type\n2 Diabetes in Mexico; MIDO-CASALUD a success story<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    According\nto the World Health Organization<\/strong> (WHO<\/strong>), chronic\ndiseases are long-term pathologies, generally with a slow progression.
