The Mexican\nrepresentatives, in both the women\u2019s and the men\u2019s category, won the title of\nthe Homeless World Cup 2019<\/strong>, which was held in Cardiff, Wales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With these\ntriumphs, Mexico again shows that it is a powerhouse in the Homeless World\nCup<\/strong>, since the women\u2019s representation added its seventh title in the\ncompetition, while the combined men\u2019s won its fourth trophy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the first final of the day, the women\u2019s selection beat Peru with a score of 6-0, to successfully defend the title won in the previous edition. The result meant a fifth consecutive championship and a total of seven, after the conquests in Mexico 2012, Poznan 2013, Amsterdam 2015, Glasgow 2016, Oslo 2017 and Mexico 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the\nmen\u2019s category, Mexico overcame Chile in the final 5-1. This result meant the\nfourth title: Amsterdam 2015, Glasgow 2016, Mexico 2018 and Cardiff 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our country\nwas represented on this occasion by players from the States of Baja California,\nBaja California Sur, Chiapas, Chihuahua, M\u00e9xico, Morelos, Nuevo Le\u00f3n, Puebla,\nVeracruz and Yucat\u00e1n, who participated in the state and national tournaments \u2018De\nla Calle a la Cancha<\/strong>\u2019 (From the Street to the Court) held all over Mexico\nby TELMEX-Telcel Foundation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018De la\nCalle a la Cancha<\/strong>\u2019 of  TELMEX-Telcel Foundation<\/strong>, and Homeless\nWorld Cup<\/strong> are initiatives directed toward youth in vulnerable\nsituations, offering them a real opportunity to excel through sports and their\nvalues, so that they can become members of society from a better perspective\nfor their growth and development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
