The Carlos\nSlim Foundation recognizes the importance of education as one of the pillars\nfor a nation\u2019s progress. The Initial\nEducation program arose as part of this focus. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The program\nhas, as its mission, facing the overall development of girls and boys in their\nfirst infancy, in order to significantly improve their quality of life and\nopportunities by means of awareness and reinforcing the competences of the\nadults responsible for their upbringing and education based on a focusing on\nrights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The idea of the program is to achieve that in each space where the girls and boys develop there is a responsible adult capable of satisfying their needs for affection and care, and to guarantee adult-child interactions in secure and enriched environments in order to promote the gradual development of their potential during early childhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Initial Education\nsustains and guides their performance based on the following values: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Honesty.<\/strong> Actions in line with their\nphilosophy addressed to promoting wellbeing and development of the children in\nearly childhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Respect.<\/strong> Recognizes the value of the\nchildren, the adults and the communities in which they live, together with\ntheir capacity for self-determination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Social\ncommitment and responsibility<\/strong>. Committed to forming the adults responsible for early education,\nconsidering them as active agents in order for their transformation to have a\npositive impact on the development of the children and the wellbeing of\nsociety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Equity\nand equal opportunities.<\/strong> Endeavors to contribute in order for all children to have opportunities\nto fully develop themselves based on the frame of childhood rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In order to\nachieve its objective, the \u201cInitial Education\u201d program of the Carlos<\/strong> Slim\nFoundation offers the following training, information and diffusion resources:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Workshops<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Through\nthe workshops \u2018To Grow Together<\/strong>\u2019, \u2018To Grow with Them<\/strong>\u2019 y \u2018Emotions\u2019<\/strong> we\nbuild together with the adults responsible for early childhood forms of\nrelationships based on fair treatment, which translate into stable links with\nthe children to promote their self-esteem. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We promote\ngames as a daily and important practice to favor apprenticeship by means of\ndifferent entertaining means which connect the girls and boys with art, science\nand narrative, enriching their world and promoting their sensitivity,\ncreativity, imagination and capacity for surprise. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013Courses\non line<\/strong>. \u2018Child care\u2019, \u2018Importance of the educator during early childhood\nand Promotor of Infantile Development\u2019 are intended to maximize childcare\npractices and the reinforcement of competition of different social actors\ninvolved with the families and community in general, in order to form a supporting\nnetwork which acts in favor of child development. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Lectures.<\/strong> We reaffirm our commitment to\nshare with parents, teachers and the general public a plan to exercise the role\nof significant adults in the life of the children consciously, lovingly, respectfully\na d responsibly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013Practical\nguide for the development of your child. \n<\/strong>Designed especially for\nsupport in the care of children during early childhood, promote interaction in\nsafe spaces and provide follow-up on their development. Offers clear, reliable\nand useful information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
