During the first date of the Nascar Series in Mexico, the TELMEX\/TELCEL Foundation<\/strong> started the 2018 edition of its \u201cRacing for Education”<\/strong> program, through which social support to people with limited resources is provided.<\/p>\n

The first supports given were 10 scholarships for Bachelor, Master and Doctorate level to students of the Autonomous University of Nuevo Le\u00f3n. In addition, the municipalities of Santa Catarina, Pesquer\u00eda and Monterrey received 20 computers and 20 printers.<\/p>\n

Through a statement, the TELMEX\/TELCEL Foundation,<\/strong> said that these actions are aimed at the integral development of the inhabitants of the State of Nuevo Le\u00f3n, where they have delivered a total of 7,829 scholarships to undergraduate, master and doctoral students.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, the 2018 campaigns Ay\u00fadame a Llegar <\/strong>(Help me to arrive) and Pilotos por la Seguridad Vial<\/strong> (Drivers for Road Safety) programs began.<\/p>\n

“The Foundation operates its Ay\u00fadame a Llegar program in Nuevo Le\u00f3n , which consists of handing out bicycles to students who must travel several kilometers daily to reach their classrooms, benefiting 6,429 children and adolescents of the state,<\/em>” said the Foundation.<\/p>\n

Likewise, the Ministry of Social Development<\/strong> of Nuevo Le\u00f3n and the municipality of Cadereyta will receive 30 wheelchairs, with which the foundation has donated a total of 1,995 wheelchairs.<\/p>\n

The Drivers for Road Safety<\/strong> program is carried out in coordination with the Carlos Slim Foundation,<\/strong> with 17 conferences being held at Higher Education Institutions in Nuevo Le\u00f3n, in which 4,399 students participated, who are invited to be part of a new road culture that allows save lives.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
