Innovation Week in Health"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Year after year, the <strong>Mexican Association of Pharmaceutical Research Industries<\/strong> (<em>Asociaci\u00f3n Mexicana de Industrias de Investigaci\u00f3n Farmac\u00e9utica<\/em>, <strong>AMIIF<\/strong>) organizes a <strong>forum on health innovation<\/strong>, a space dedicated to analyze the beneficial impact of incorporating and innovating pharmaceutical products. This event also serves for providing tools and most relevant data to make from the health sector an ideal detonator for productivity and competitiveness.<\/p>\n<p>This year <strong>AMIIF<\/strong> carried out the <strong>3rd. Innovation Week in Health 2017<\/strong>, under the motto \u2018<strong>Innovate to Grow<\/strong>\u2019. The event was carried out in the facilities of the <strong>Medicine Palace<\/strong> <strong>of the<\/strong> <strong>National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM)<\/strong>, in the Historic Center of Mexico City.<\/p>\n<p>Once again, <strong>Carlos Slim Foundation<\/strong> (CSF) was invited to participate in the panel called: \u2018<strong>The binomial of health: prevention and care in Mexico<\/strong>\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>In the panel, CSF General Director <strong>Dr. Roberto Tapia Conyer<\/strong> addressed issues such as new trends in prevention and health care. \u201cWe are facing the fourth industrial revolution, marked by the convergence of digital, physical and biological technologies. These have as a response the use of innovations in the provision of health services, as part of an everyday increasingly reality. It is a phenomenon called digital health,\u201d he said<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Dr. Roberto Tapia spoke about the optimization of results\u2019 indicators and measures in the public and private sectors, with a focus on the patient, his therapeutic control and the quality of care received. \u201cBefore talking about indicators, we must ensure the formation of nominal information systems that follow the person wherever he is, ensuring traceability of interventions at home, community and health unit\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Digital and technological convergence allow having expert systems now a day, which through well-identified algorithms and intervention suggestions, make it easier for health professionals to make decisions.<\/p>\n<p>The panel was moderated by <strong>Dr. Julio Sotelo<\/strong>, member of the <strong>National Academy of Medicine<\/strong>, and included the participation of <strong>Dr. Mar\u00eda del Sol Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, surgeon physician at <strong>\u2018<em>20 de Noviembre\u2019<\/em> Medical Center<\/strong>; and <strong>Dr. Jose Alarcon<\/strong>, partner at <strong>Price Waterhouse Coopers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Year after year, the Mexican Association of Pharmaceutical Research Industries (Asociaci\u00f3n Mexicana de Industrias de Investigaci\u00f3n Farmac\u00e9utica, AMIIF) organizes a forum on health innovation, a space dedicated to analyze the beneficial impact of incorporating and innovating pharmaceutical products.
